Terms of Use Agreement
This Terms of Use Agreement (the "Agreement") governs the use of this website (the "Site"), including all communications sent via the Site to Gilbert Randolph LLP (“GR”) or any other firm referenced in the Attorney Profiles section of the Site (“We” or the “Firms”). "You" refers to any person or entity that accesses or uses the Site or chooses to contact the Firms through the Site. This Agreement does not apply to any interactions or relationship that may exist or be established between the Firms and a client. Client representations are governed by separate engagement letter.
We may modify this Agreement at any time, and such modification shall be effective 30 days after posting of the modified Agreement. Your access to or use of the Site after the modifications have become effective shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Agreement.
I. No Attorney-Client Relationship Created
Although we wish to hear from you, the Site is not intended to be a source of advertising, solicitation, or legal advice. Display of material on the Site is not intended to create, and receipt does not constitute, an attorney-client relationship. This information is not intended to substitute for obtaining legal advice from an attorney. Please be aware that the sending of an e-mail message to the Firms does not create an attorney-client relationship or contractually obligate the Firms to represent you as your attorney. The Firms cannot serve as your counsel in any matter unless you and the Firms expressly agree, in writing, that we will serve as your attorney. No person should act or rely on any information in the Site without seeking the advice of an attorney.
You should not consider this information to be an invitation for an attorney-client relationship or rely on information provided herein. The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise. All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered.
The Firms do not wish to represent anyone seeking representation based upon viewing the Site in a state where the Site fails to comply with all laws and ethical rules of that state.
II. License
The contents of the Site, including its "look and feel" (e.g., text, graphics, images, logos, and button icons), editorial content, notices and other material, are protected under both United States and foreign copyright, trademark, and other laws. These contents belong or are licensed to GR. We hereby grant you the right to view and use the Site subject to this Agreement. You may download or print a copy of information provided in the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that such information may not be modified and is appropriately credited to GR. Permission to reprint or electronically reproduce any document or graphic in whole or in part for any other purpose is expressly prohibited, unless prior written consent is obtained from the respective copyright holder(s). You may contact us at the address provided at the end of this Agreement.
III. Privacy
Please see our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement for the details of our treatment of personal information provided to us through this Site.
IV. Links To Other Sites
The Site may contain links to websites operated by other parties. The links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control such websites, and we are not responsible for the content and performance of these sites or for your transactions with them. Our inclusion of links to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators. Neither GR nor the Firms in any way operate, control or endorse any information, products or services provided by third parties through the Internet. See our Privacy Policy regarding information which may be transferred to third parties by using these links.
V. Warranty Disclaimer
The Site is a public resource of general information that is intended, but not guaranteed, to be correct, complete and up-to-date. The Firms assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Site. The material is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. The Firms do not offer any guarantee of case results. Past success in litigation does not guarantee success in any new or future lawsuit.
VI. Miscellaneous
1. You should be aware that applicable statutes of limitation (deadlines imposed by law within which you may bring a lawsuit) may severely limit the time remaining for you to file any potential claims you may have or may prevent filing of a claim altogether.
2. GR and/or the Firms have or may have financial interests in class action litigation described on the Site, because we represent clients with interests in such litigation, and the size of our fees may depend in part on the number of class members we are able to obtain.
3. Unless otherwise specified, the attorneys listed on this Site are not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and are not certified as specialists in any practice area by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization.
4. GR designates Mark Tanney of Gilbert Randolph, LLP, 1100 New York Ave. N.W., 7th Floor, Washington DC 20005 (202) 772-2200, as the attorney responsible for the Site. Please contact the responsible attorney with any questions concerning this Agreement.
